The mission of the Diamond Mountain Charter High School is to equip rural students in grades 9-12 with the literacy skills necessary to perform in the 21^st century. Students will obtain the ability to read, write, speak, and calculate, with clarity and precision, and the ability to participate responsibly in their community. Diamond Mountain Charter High School will enable students to become literate, self-motivated learners for life by providing a multi-cultural, student-centered environment in which all students will be held to high academic and behavioral standards. They will actively work in collaborative relationships both within and outside the school, performing service to the greater community.
